“​I have learnt with sorrow of the earthquake which has struck Hualien, on the island of Taiwan, killing people and wreaking havoc on the town,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano. “I wish to express our solidarity to the many people affected by the earthquake. I express my sympathy to the families of the victims and I also wish a prompt recovery to the people injured, ” concluded the minister.
