The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, said: “I congratulate the Tunisian authorities for holding municipal elections, a historic step for the young Tunisian democracy. Consulting voters will help encourage the Tunisian government and international community to do all they can to support reforms and the transition to democracy.”
