The work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a safe return home of compatriots stranded abroad continues. About 97,600 citizens have returned from the beginning of the COVID-19 emergency thanks to the work of the Crisis Unit and the diplomatic-consular network, which have activated 1075 air, sea and land operations from 120 countries.
Today, more than 200 Italians returned from countries such as Belgium and the United Kingdom, but also the Republic of Congo and Nicaragua.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to make every effort to guarantee assistance to all compatriots still stranded abroad.
