Effective multilateralism is the way forward and as the next G20 presidency we are aware of the responsibility that Italy will have in promoting multilateral efforts” – the Vice Minister expressed to her interlocutor – “Agenda 2030 and the Paris agreement, in this perspective, continue to remain the fundamental pillars of our action”.
“I believe that the G20 could be a relevant international forum to define measures to ensure that vulnerable countries are part of the socio-economic recovery” – she added – “In the development agenda of our presidency, the management of the pandemic in developing countries will be among our priorities”.
“We intend to deepen the G20 discussions on financing for sustainable development, in particular on innovative strategies that include new actors,” VM Del Re concluded.
