Inauguration of anti-Covid vaccine center at the Farnesina

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has opened a vaccination centre for employees and their families at its internal outpatient clinic. This is the first initiative of its kind by a central government department.

The facility will also be open to public servants posted abroad, who are often employed in areas with a high epidemiological risk and limited access to vaccines. The project is part of the Lazio Region’s vaccination programme and is the result of a partnership with the local health authority ASL Roma 1 – District 15, which has provided a dedicated medical team.

The inauguration of the centre was attended by the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Ambassador, Ettore Francesco Sequi, and the Director General of ASL Roma 1, Dr. Angelo Tanese.
