At the end of the works of the Electoral Circumscription Committees, 244 lists have been admitted to the elections of the Committees of Italians Abroad, which will be held on 3 December 2021. They will concern 115 Comites all over the world, of which 9 newly established.
“It is a significant figure, with a 55% increase in the number of lists compared to the 2015 elections,” commented MAECI’s Director-General for Italians Abroad, Luigi Vignali. “It confirms the strong desire of our compatriots to actively participate in these important representative bodies that protect and promote the interests of our communities around the world. It is now crucial that our compatriots,” Vignali added, “continue to register to exercise their right to vote. There is time until 3 November.”
Compatriots living abroad, who have been resident in the consular constituency since at least 3 June 2021, can register using the FAST IT web portal or send a communication by certified email (PEC), email, or regular mail, including a copy of an identity document. They can also register by going to the Consular Offices.
