After a complex operation run by the Foreign Affairs Ministry Crisis Unit in close collaboration with the intelligence, which has provided operational support, and after taking to safety, outside Ukraine, all the Italian nationals hosted over the past days at his Residence, Ambassador Pier Francesco Zazo has arrived in Lviv today, where the seat of Italy’s diplomatic mission in Ukraine has been relocated.
From Lviv, along with a group of aides and collaborating closely with other Italian offices in the area, with the local authorities and with International Organisations, the Ambassador will continue to work to provide assistance to our fellow nationals who are still in Ukraine, who are urged once again to immediately leave the country by any means possible.
