Today, during a video conference of G7 Foreign Ministers, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, announced that Italy will host a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine.
This announcement is in line with the strong political, military, financial, and humanitarian support that Italy has provided to Kyiv since the beginning of the conflict. Italy has also taken in Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war and contributed materially to rebuilding the energy infrastructure.
The aim of the conference, which will be held in Rome in April, is to give the Kyiv authorities a clear and precise picture of what Sistema Italia has to offer, given the interest shown by our private sector in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Italy intends to play a leading role in rebuilding the country, making available the experience and know-how of its companies and exploring collaborations of mutual interest, particularly in sectors such as infrastructure and transport, agribusiness, energy, and digital technology.
