Norway, institutional visit to Oslo by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, concluded.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, concluded yesterday a three-day institutional visit to Norway.

The core of the mission was the bilateral consultations with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Varteressian, during which bilateral relations and key international issues were thoroughly discussed. The Deputy Minister also met with the Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Terese Myrseth, and visited the Norwegian Space Agency and the Norwegian Shipowners Association.

The visit also included several meetings with the leadership of major Norwegian industrial groups and representatives of Italian companies operating in the country, as well as various cultural exchanges, including Davide Rivalta’s exhibition at Oscarshall Summer Palace and the opening of the seminar “Children’s Books in Oslo. Waiting for Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2026,” both co-organised by the Italian Embassy in Oslo and the Italian Cultural Institute.
