Italian Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Maria Tripodi and the State Secretary of Ministry of Roads and Transport of the Republic of Mongolia Sandagdorj Batbold today had a meeting at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Farnesina). The meeting was an opportunity to reaffirm mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations, which will celebrate their 55th anniversary next year.
In particular, the potential for growth in trade and investment was discussed. To this end, the importance of developing infrastructure and transport connections was emphasised, something that the soon-to-be-established route between the Ulaanbaatar and Bergamo airports could significantly contribute to.
