Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani will present to the associations of the Italian productive world an Action Plan for the acceleration of exports in high-potential markets, on 21 March at 12:00 noon at Villa Madama.
The Action Plan envisages the development and integration of new promotional tools by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the public export support agencies – ICE, SIMEST, SACE, CDP – for the benefit of the entrepreneurial system.
All companies interested in participating can follow the proceedings in streaming by connecting to the link https://youtube.com/live/uAduKk-5WgI?feature=share.
Companies with specific questions on the opportunities offered by the Italian Export System and on upcoming growth diplomacy initiatives can write to export@esteri.it. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs – in coordination with the diplomatic-consular network – and the partners of the Italian System will reply to the requests.
At Villa Madama, Minister Tajani will also present the model guide on “growth diplomacy” that the Italian Embassies in Italy’s main partner countries are working on, in order to offer a concrete and specialised guide to companies entering foreign markets for the first time.
“We have set the goal of 700 billion in exports by the end of the legislature”, said Tajani. “The government wants to offer maximum support to companies that want to access foreign markets. Our strategy of growth diplomacy must be in line with the needs of the production world,” the Minister continued, “and that is why, together with the Agencies of the Italian System, we are planning politically-led business missions to India, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia in the coming months, as well as economic partnership events with Japan and Turkey. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also developing specific financial support tools such as the new Simest measures, as well as targeted actions to strengthen the trade fair sector”, the Minister concluded.
