The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, opens the Ceremony of oath of allegiance to the Republic by 46 newly appointed diplomatic officers from the training course “Boris Biancheri Chiappori”.
The oath represents the final stage of the training programme, during which the Secretaries of Legation have participated in training missions in Italy and abroad, international conferences, including as ‘liaison officers’, and joint training modules with the armed forces, diplomats from other States, and private entities.
As usual, the course for Secretaries of Legation is named after renowned diplomats. The 2025 training course is named after Boris Biancheri Chiappori, who joined the diplomatic service in 1956.
