On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the release of the unforgettable “Fantozzi” by Luciano Salce, the Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens hosted the performance “How is you still human”, written and performed by Anna Mazzamauro, produced by Good Mood, Nicola Canonico.
In this work, actress Anna Mazzamauro pays tribute to the iconic character created and portrayed by Paolo Villaggio. In the synopsis, the artist writes: “[…] From the cinema that made you a legend, I, grateful and indebted, dare to tell your story on stage […] But it wouldn’t have been theatre if I had written an hagiography. Theatre needs emotions to tell, by provoking them in the audience. If words are not enough, there is live music by Sasà Calabrese. His piano, his guitar, my costumes and sets, because ‘How is you still human… dear Fantozzi’ is not just a monologue… but a complete performance”.
