The third Italian Music Week, an initiative of the Italian Cultural Institute of São Paulo in collaboration with the São Paulo SESC and produced by the SÙ Association for Culture and Education, featured two leading figures in the new Italian music scene, Venerus and Whitemary.
Venerus opened his “Speriamo Tour” on May 26 at the Santos SESC, continuing on May 27 at the Casa Natura in São Paulo, and concluding on May 28 at the Taubaté SESC, offering each performance a multisensory experience that blended pop, jazz, rap, and electronic music with theatrical and choreographic elements.
Whitemary brought her energy and sound exploration to SESC in Campinas on May 29 and SESC Pompeia in São Paulo on May 30, with her signature blend of electronic music and an intimate, direct, and introspective style. The artist then performed on June 2, 2026, during the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, with a DJ set in the elegant Jardim Nacional, located within the iconic Conjunto Nacional building.
This series of events represented a true cultural bridge between Italy and Brazil, helping to strengthen the Brazilian public’s perception of Italy as a creative and innovative hub in the global music scene.
