First stop in Turin for companies from Northern Italy
The road towards the National Export Conference 2026 will kick off in Turin with the event “Export Objective: Businesses and Territories of Northern Italy”, scheduled for 29 April at OGR Torino, starting at 10:30 a.m.
The initiative, promoted by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in cooperation with Italian Trade Agency, CDP, SACE and SIMEST, with the support of the Piedmont Region, is the first of three preparatory stages for the National Export Conference 2026, targeting businesses from Northern, Central and Southern Italy.
This preparatory process provides a platform for dialogue and engagement across the country, with a view to developing, together with the Italian business community, an increasingly targeted and effective strategy to support internationalisation and enhance the value of Made in Italy worldwide, in line with the objectives of the Export Action Plan.
The Turin event is open to companies from all Northern Italian regions: Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta, Liguria, Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Participating companies will have access to an exclusive session of B2B meetings with:
- Heads of the Commercial Offices of Italian Embassies in France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, China, Türkiye, Japan, Canada and Ethiopia;
- Directors of Italian Trade Agency Offices in Saudi Arabia, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, India and the United States;
- Experts from Italian Trade Agency, SACE, SIMEST and CDP
This offers a concrete and immediate opportunity to establish direct contacts with key interlocutors supporting companies in international markets and to explore the promotional and financial instruments made available by the Italian System.
The programme will also include the “Growth Lab”, dedicated to promoting the cultural, creative and productive excellence of local territories. Experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will engage with public bodies and stakeholders from the business, cultural and creative sectors to develop dedicated internationalisation pathways.
Participation is free of charge, subject to registration by 27 April 2026 via the dedicated platform EVENTI SISTEMA PAESE – OBIETTIVO EXPORT – Imprese e territori del Nord Italia, where programme updates and booking procedures for B2B meetings are available.
