After two years, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will once again convene more than 100 Italian Ambassadors from around the world. On 24 July, the Farnesina will host the 13th Conference of Italian Ambassadors, thus offering an opportunity to debate and reflect on how to make the Foreign Ministry and its greatly extended diplomatic network increasingly play a key role in assuring the security and growth of the entire Country. The Conference will explore the engagement of Italian diplomacy on issues such as the European Union, the Mediterranean, cooperation, the challenges posed by globalisation, Italy’s ‘soft power’ and the protection of Italian citizens abroad. The Conference will close on 26 July at the Farnesina.
