Today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation took place the first disputed Junior Task Force in 2020. The technical-operational table, chaired by the General Directorate for Italians Abroad, was attended – as usual – by representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the Interior. The meeting, once again, was characterized, by the shared willingness of the Administrations involved to collaborate to manage the international child abduction actively. In the year just ended, the Farnesina dealt with 518 cases of disputed minors, with a geographical distribution that confirms Europe in the first place, followed by the Americas, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Asia and, finally, Africa.
