Canberra -The ‘Mappa del mondo’ of Fra Mauro on display

The precious mid-15th century “Mappa del Mondo” by Fra Mauro, left Venice’s Biblioteca Marciana for the exhibition “Mapping Our World: Terra Incognita to Autralian” in Canberra, where it will remain on display at the National Library of Australia through 10 March 2014, its first ever exhibition abroad. Lima – Prizes for Italian tales and poetry
