The 3rd Meeting of the Italy-Mexico Joint Commission will be held at the foreign ministry in Rome at 10.30 on Thursday 24 May 2012. Introducing it will be Minister for Foreign Affairs Giulio Terzi and Mexican Secretary for Foreign Relations Patricia Espinosa Cantellano.
Minister Terzi and Secretary Espinosa Cantellano will then have a meeting, at the end of which (roughly 12.15) a Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership is to be signed, followed by a press conference.
Journalists and camera operators interested in covering the event are asked to apply for accreditation by completing the interactive form available at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp to which all required documentation can be attached in digital format.
If in exceptional cases it is not possible to complete the online accreditation procedure, applications in writing on company letterhead and signed by the director of the organisation concerned—indicating name, surname, date and place of birth, number of a valid ID document and qualification—should be sent by fax to the Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (tel. 063691.3432 fax 06.3691.2122).
Accreditation badges must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sala Ospiti (main entrance – right side) according to the following timetable:
- photographers and TV crews beginning at 9.30 and no later than 10.00 (for coverage of the opening speeches and signing of the joint declaration);
- journalists between 11.45 and 12.10 (for the press conference).
