On Thursday 12 September the Farnesina will be hosting a conference marking the close of the UNICEF conference on “Syria’s Children: a generation at risk”. The event will start at 15.00 and end at around 16.30.
The conference will be opened and moderated by the President of UNICEF Italy, Giacomo Guerrera. The other speakers include UNICEF representatives in areas affected by the Syrian humanitarian crisis (Annamaria Laurini for Lebanona and Marzio Babille for Iraq) and the director of the ANSA news agency, Luigi Contu.
Foreign Minister Emma Bonino will give the closing address.
Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:
– Complete and submit the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp
– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format.
Required documentation:
– a letter from your media organisation
– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.
Applications must be submitted no later than 12.00 of 12 September 2013.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews should collect their accreditation badges at the rear entrance to the Ministry at “via della Macchia della Farnesina”, which will be open from 14.15 on 12 September 2013.
