A ceremony will be held on Tuesday 18 February 2014 to celebrate the Lateran Pacts and the revision of the Concordat. The ceremony will take place at the Italian Embassy to the Holy See (Palazzo Borromeo) in the presence of senior figures from the institutions of the State and of the Catholic Church.
The bilateral government meetings will begin at 16.15.
Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format
Required documentation:
– a letter from your media organisation
– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.
If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432 – fax 06/3691.2122).
Applications for accreditation must reach this office no later than 12.00 of 17 February 2014.
The necessary security checks will take place at the Farnesina only, as described below.
You will not be allowed to enter Palazzo Borromeo without first going through the security checks and may not use your own vehicles. The Foreign Ministry will provide a shuttle service between the Farnesina (rear entrance, Via Macchia della Farnesina) and Palazzo Borromeo.
Accredited photographers and TV crews should report to the Foreign Ministry – rear entrance at “via della Macchia della Farnesina” – from 14.00 up to, and no later than, 15.00 on Tuesday 18 February. Please be punctual.
Accredited journalists should report to the Foreign Ministry – rear entrance at “via della Macchia della Farnesina” – from 14.45 up to, and no later than, 15.15 on Tuesday 18 February. Please be punctual.
