The ministerial session of the Italy-Africa Initiative – Agriculture will take place at the Farnesina at 15.30 on Thursday 20 February 2014. Participants include the Heads of Delegation of the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa visiting Rome for the meeting of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Governing Council
The session will open with addresses by Foreign Minister Emma Bonino, Health Minister Beatrice Lorenzin and the Under-Secretary for Agriculture Policies, Maurizio Martina. The closing address will be given by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Lapo Pistelli.
