ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Reminder: Closing round table of the Villa Mondragone International Economic Seminar (Farnesina, 24 June)

On Friday, 24 June 2016 at 9:00 a.m. the Farnesina will host the closing round table of the “Villa Mondragone International Economic Seminar”, entitled “A Sustainable Growth in EU”. Now at its 28th edition, the event is organised by the Fondazione Economia of the Rome University “Tor Vergata” in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.  

The Seminar, launched in 1988 by Prof Luigi Paganetto, President of the Fondazione Economia Tor Vergata, is an international forum of debte on issues related to development and economic policies promoting growth.  

The opening remarks will be made by Elisabetta Belloni, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by Luigi Paganetto while the round table will be closed by Benedetto Della Vedova, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Beatrice Lorenzin, Minister of Health and Claudio De Vincenti, Cabinet Undersecretary.

The panel will include Dominick Salvatore (Fordham University), Rainer Masera (Guglielmo Marconi University), Ignazio Angeloni (European Central Bank), Carlo Cottarelli (International Monetary Fund), Giampaolo Galli (Chamber of Deputies), Patrizio Bianchi (Regione Emilia – Romagna, Councillorship for the Coordination of European Development Policies, Scools, Vocational Training, Universities, Research and Employment), Francesco La Camera (Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea), Andrea Montanino (Atlantic Council), Paolo Guerrieri Paleotti (Senate of the Republic and University of Rome “La Sapienza”) and Enrico Giovannini (University of Rome “Tor Vergata”).

For accreditation, journalists, photographers and TV operators need to fill in the interactive form found on the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp Unless already submitted, please enclose the required digital documentation (letter by the newspaper or TV network they work for, and for foreign press representatives, the Report issued by the Embassy in Rome of the Country where the represented media is based).

If online accreditation fails. applications can be forwarded via email to Servizio per la Stampa e la Comunicazione Istituzionale of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at  accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel.  06/3691.3432 – 06/3691.3070).  

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews should enter the Ministry from the main entrance– left-hand side – at 8:30 a.m.
