On Thursday, 22 June 2017, at 9:00 a.m., the Farnesina will host the final round table of the event “Villa Mondragone International Economic Seminar”, entitled “Getting a Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in a Globalized World”. The seminar, which is now at its 29th edition, is organised by the Economics Foundation of “Tor Vergata” University of Rome in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The seminar is an international initiative that focuses on development- related issues and economic policies for growth. It was first launched in 1988 by Luigi Paganetto, Chairman of the Tor Vergata Economics Foundation, who will deliver an opening speech at the round table.
The panelists will be Antonio Maria Costa, who will talk on “Globalizzazione: scacco matto all’Occidente?” together with Vincenzo Scotti (Link Campus University) and Patrizio Bianchi (Ferrara University); Dominick Salvatore (Fordham University), who will discuss Mr Trump’s economic and commercial policies together with and Beniamino Quintieri (SACE) and Giovanni Tria (Tor Vergata University).
The final session , which will focus on“The G7 and an inclusive and sustainable development”, will be introduced by Enrico Giovannini (Tor Vergata University) followed by Beatrice Lorenzin, Minister of Health, and Pier Carlo Padoan, Minister of Economy and Finance.
