Presentation to the press of the International Conference on the Responsibility of States, Institutions and Individuals in Combating Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Area.

Within the framework of the Italian OSCE Chairmanship, on Tuesday, 23 January, at 12:15 p.m., the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano and the President of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, Noemi Di Segni, will present to the press the International Conference on the Responsibility of States, Institutions and Individuals in Combating Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Area.

The International Conference on Anti-Semitism will be held on 29 January at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and will be structured around a Plenary Session and four thematic panels. 

As part of the presentation of the Conference, there will be the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a documentary exhibition curated by the Historic Archive of the MAECI, with contributions by the Yad Vashem Center, the Museum of the Shoah of Rome, the Museum of Italian Hebraism and the Shoah of Ferrara (MEIS) and the Babylonian Talmud Translation Project.

 Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following two ways:

–    by filling the interactive form and clicking on the event concerned at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the documentation requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country).   

–   by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at the Visitors’ Hall at the main entrance – right-hand side – from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.
