UPDATE on press accreditation notice – Permanent Conference on Political Issues in the Framework of the Negotiation Process for the Transdniestrian Settlement (Farnesina, 29 and 30 May 2018)

On Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 May 2018, the “Permanent Conference on Political Issues in the Framework of the Negotiation Process for the Transdniestrian Settlement” will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, organised by the Italian 2018 OSCE Chairmanship.

The Conference is in the “5+2” format (the Republic of Moldova and Transdniestria + OSCE, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the European Union and the United States as mediators and observers. 

Franco Frattini, Special Representative of the Italian OSCE-Chairperson in Office for the Transdniestrian Settlement Process, will chair the Conference and it will be introduced by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Elisabetta Belloni. The press is welcome to attend at the following times: 

Tuesday, 29 May: opening session from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.

Wednesday, 30 May: final press conference at 11:00 a.m.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation by sending an email to:  accreditamentostampa@esteri.it,  attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accreditation badges may be collected at the main entrance, left-hand side at the following times:

– Tuesday, 29 May, from 8:45 to 9:10 a.m. to follow the opening session

– Wednesday, 30 May, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. to follow the press conference
