On Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 May, 2018 the Farnesina will host the ” Permanent Conference on Political Issues in the Framework of the Negotiation Process for the Transdniestrian Settlement”, organized by the Italian 2018 OSCE Chairmanship.
The Conference is in the “5+2” format (the Republic of Moldova and Transdniestria, with the OSCE, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the European Union, and the United States of America as mediators and observers).
Franco Frattini, Special Representative of the Italian OSCE-Chairperson in Office for Transdniestrian Settlement Process, will chair the Conference.
The Conference’s Opening Session, on Tuesday 29 May until 9:45 a.m., and the final press conference, on Wednesday 30 May at 11:00 a.m., will be open to the press.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation by sending an email to: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.
Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance – left-hand side at the following time slots:
– Tuesday 29 May, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to follow the Opening Session
– Wednesday 30 May, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to follow the press conference
