PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTICE – 7th Situation Room for Internationalisation (11 September 2018)

On Tuesday, 11 September 2018, at 9:00 a.m., the Farnesina will host the Meeting of the 7th Situation Room for Internationalisation, which will open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, and by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development, Labour and Social Policies, Luigi Di Maio.

The session will continue with contributions by Giovanni Tria, Minister of Economy and Finance, Gian Marco Centinaio, Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and Tourism, Alberto Bonisoli, Minister for Cultural Heritage and Activities, Michele Dell’Orco, Undersecretary of State for Infrastructure and Transport, and – via videoconference – by Stefano Bonaccini, President of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces.

The meeting will be chaired by Vincenzo De Luca, Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).

The meeting agenda also schedules contributions by the representatives of business and financial associations such as Unioncamere, Confindustria, R.ETE. Imprese Italia, Alleanza delle Cooperative Italiane and ABI.

The conclusions will be drawn by Manlio Di Stefano, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

TV crews and photographers will be allowed a tour-de-table at the beginning of the meeting.

Photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accredited photographers and TV crews wanting to shoot a tour-de-table at the beginning of the meeting, may collect their accreditation badges in person at the rear entrance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Via della Macchia della Farnesina, from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.
