On Thursday, 20 December, at 3 p.m., the Sala di Pompeo of Palazzo Spada (Piazza Capo di Ferro, 13) will host the meeting promoted by the Consiglio di Stato in association with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to present the twinning project for the reform of the Tunisian Administrative Justice system.
The event will open with greetings by the President of the Consiglio di Stato, Filippo Patroni Griffi, and the President of the Tunisian Supreme Administrative Tribunal, Abdessalem Mehdi Grissiaa, the Minister of European Affairs, Paolo Savona, and the Head of the European Commission Representation to Italy, Beatrice Covassi.
The opening remarks will be followed by contributions the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Elisabetta Belloni, in representation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, and the Head of the Twinning Project, Claudio Contessa.
The twinning project for the reform of the Tunisian Administrative Justice system, which will be presented on 20 December at 3 p.m., is the result of the adjudication (see press 17 October 2018) of the “twinning” project to the Italian Council of State (Consiglio di Stato), assisted by the Italian Embassy in Tunis and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which won over a French-German consortium coordinated by the French Conseil d’Etat.
After signing the contract between the Italian Consiglio di Stato and the Tunisian Ministry of Development, Investment and International Cooperation last 30 November, the project is due to start off in January with the installation of the Resident Advisor Sergio Zeuli. It involves an important form of cooperation seeing that Tunisia is a key partner in Italy’s Mediterranean policy strategy.
