On Friday, 12 April, at 9:00 a.m., the Farnesina will host the Italy–Latin America Forum, dedicated to the “Italy-Latin American Alliance for the Promotion of Gender Equality”, which will be attended by the Ministers and Government officials of Italy and Latin American Countries, top-ranking officials of international Organizations, and representatives of Italian and Latin American institutions and agencies.
The meeting will be chaired by Ricardo Antonio Merlo, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and moderated by the Foreign Ministry’s Central Director for Latin American Countries, Antonella Cavallari.
The Opening Session will be followed by remarks by the Minister of Public Administration, Giulia Bongiorno and by the Ambassador of the Republic of Panama and President of IILA (Italo-Latin American Institute), Ana María De León.
The Guest of Honour at the Forum will be the Vice President of the Republic of Colombia, Marta Lucía Ramirez.
