On Thursday, 27 June 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Farnesina will host the Round Table closing the event “Villa Mondragone International Economic Seminar” at the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi. This year the event, which is organised by the Economics Foundation of the “Tor Vergata” University of Rome in association with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), has come to its 31st edition and is dedicated to the theme: “Capitalism, global change and sustainable development. The future of globalization”.
The Seminar, which kicked off in 1988, aims to intensify dialogue on sustainable growth and development between the academic world and the representatives of national and international institutions.
The Seminar will open with remarks by the Director General for Global Issues and Globalisation, Luca Sabbatucci and by the President of the Economics Foundation of the “Tor Vergata” University of Rome, Luigi Paganetto. The others scheduled contributions will be by: Dominick Salvatore (Fordham University), Franco Bassanini (Open Fiber), Andrea Montanino (Confindustria), Francesco Profumo (ACRI), Massimo Tononi (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti), Alessandro Modiano (MAECI), Pasquale Lucio Scandizzo (“Tor Vergata” University of Rome).
The event will close at 12:00 p.m. with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi and by the Deputy Minister of Education, University and Research, Lorenzo Fioramonti.
