Today, Monday 21 October 2019, at 5 p.m., the “Salvo D’Acquisto” barracks of the Carabinieri in Rome will host the ceremony for the 40th anniversary of the foundation of the Carabinieri Headquarters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will close with an equestrian show by the 4th Carabinieri Cavalry Regiment.
The event will be attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Emanuela Claudia Del Re, Undersecretaries Riccardo Antonio Merlo and Manlio Di Stefano, the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Elisabetta Belloni, the Commanding General of the Carabinieri, Giovanni Nistri, and the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Mons. Emil Tscherrig.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in attending the event can apply for accreditation by sending an email to: ufficiostampa@carabinieri.it, by 3:00 p.m. of 21 October, specifying the media organisation for which journalists work, the personal data contained in their identification document and their press card number.
For organisational purposes, TV crews are kindly asked to access the facility, which is located on Viale Tor di Quinto 151, by and no later than 4:30 p.m.
