Presentation of “Italy in 10 Selfies”
A human-centred economy to face the future
(Farnesina, 13 January 2025)
On Monday, 13 January 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the Aldo Moro Hall of the Farnesina, the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will be present at the presentation event of the 2024 edition of “Italy in 10 Selfies“, published annually by the Symbola Foundation under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, in collaboration with Unioncamere and Assocamerestero.
“Italy in 10 Selfies” expresses in a simple and immediate way ten key strengths of our country system, some of which are not widely known. These strengths reflect the characteristics of an efficient, human-centred economy, capable of projecting itself with confidence toward the future. At the same time, its publication is a valuable tool for promoting the value of Italy’s products and their competitiveness on international markets.
After the opening of Minister Tajani, the presentation will be made by the President of the Symbola Foundation, Ermete Realacci, and the President of Assocamerestero, Mario Pozza.
Some representatives of the companies and sectors of excellence mentioned in the 2024 edition will be present at the event.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending can apply for accreditation by sending a request, by 5:00 p.m. on Friday 10 January, by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691 8210 – 8573 or 3432), as follows:
For representatives of the Italian press organisations:
– a copy of an identity document,
– a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
– copy of an identity document;
– letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
– Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
The accredited press will be able to access the Farnesina from the main entrance, on the left side, from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. on Monday 13 January 2025.
Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.
