VANVITELLI/VAN WITTEL ROUNDTABLE

On 8 April at 2:45 p.m., the ministerial session of the fourth edition of the Vanvitelli/Van Wittel Roundtable will take place at the Royal Palace of Caserta. Open to the press, the session will be chaired by the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Caspar Veldkamp.

The roundtable will also feature the participation of: Lorenzo Bagnoli, Vice President of Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs, Thomas Grosfeld, Director of Economy and International Trade at VNO-NCW (Dutch Confederation of Industry), Lorenzo Galanti, Director General of ITA, Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, CEO of SIMEST.

Following the session, a bilateral meeting will take place, after which the Ministers will hold a joint press conference.

The Vanvitelli/Van Wittel Roundtable is organised by the Istituto Affari Internazionali and the Clingendael Institute, in collaboration with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic representations of Italy and the Netherlands. This fourth edition, held on 7–8 April at the Royal Palace, represents an important moment of reflection among experts and research centres on key political-strategic issues, economic policy, and technological and trade relations between the two countries. The ministerial session on 8 April, organised in collaboration with Italian Trade Agency, Confindustria, and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, will also feature a conference on competitiveness, innovation, and European economic security, with the participation of Italian and Dutch businesses.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending the ministerial session of the event can apply for accreditation by sending a request by 12:00 p.m. on Monday 7 April by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06/3691 3432, -3078 or 8210), as follows:

For representatives of the Italian press organisations:

  • a copy of the identity document;
  • a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -,
  • a copy of professional identity card.

For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • a copy of the identity document;
  • letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
  • Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.

Please note that no new accreditation requests will be accepted on the day of the event; only substitutions will be allowed.

Badges must be collected in person at the main entrance between 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
