Yesterday, some thirty Italian engineering and construction companies and the major players on the Israeli construction and infrastructure scene, participated in the conference “Building Together – Italy & Israel”, organised in Tel Aviv by the ICE Agency in association with the ICE Office in Tel Aviv and the Italian Embassy to Israel, in partnership with the OICE and ANCE trade Associations and with the participation of SIMEST of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group.
The Conference aimed to increase the business opportunities for Italian companies possibly arising from the numerous infrastructure projects that will be launched on the short-medium-term in Israel. On the fringes of the Conference, Italian companies met with potential Israeli partners and counterparties in more than130 B2B meetings.
Ambassador Gianluigi Benedetti said: “One week after Minister Moavero’s visit and on the eve of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Israel, the Embassy and the ICE Office in Tel Aviv continue in their effort to create business opportunities for Italian companies in this market, which is important both in terms of orders and of scientific and technological cooperation.”
