It opened last February 7th in Thessaloniki, at the presence of the Greek Culture Minister Lina Mendoni, a great exhibition of the Italian sculptor Novello Finotti.
The exhibition (“Fine Notte. Το τέλος της νύχτας”) hosted by the Teloglion Foundation and organized as part of the “Tempo Forte Italia Ελλάδα 2020” initiative of the Italian Embassy in Athens, celebrates Finotti’s artistic journey, the result of the dialogue between the Italian tradition of marble and Greek antiquity.
Discovered by Greek art dealer and collector Alexander Iolas, Finotti has influenced contemporary sculpture with bold expressions, techniques and forms. The exhibition – the first in Greece dedicated to the Italian artist – will remain open until June 14th.
