The Italian Institute of Culture in Vilnius will be showcasing the “Centenary. Fellini Worldwide” exhibition, featuring drawings and other items belonging or related to the inspiring director, which opens today at the Lithuanian Museum of Theatre, Music and Cinameon 31 July.
The items on show come from a number of public and private archives and great collectors around the world. The project highlights the most important aspects of Fellini’s personality, also showcasing the characteristic features that enabled the director to acquire worldwide renown.
The variety and quality of the exhibition items offer a perspective on the reasons why this great personality of the 20th century became so famous, as well as the reasons underlying the interest that so many people still have in his work, twenty-seven years after his death.
