The Festival, organized with the collaboration and support of the Strasbourg Institute of Culture, will be held from August 23 to 29 as the historic abbey of Prémontrés.

“Jusqu’à prevue du contraire” is the title of the work by Paolo Sartori, translated by Ester Bortolussi, presented on August 26 at 8:45 pm. It is the story of a 66-year-old woman who has killed her seventy-year-old husband after a lifetime of domestic abuse, both physical and psychological. Actually, the woman has only defended herself from yet another violent attack by the man, who dies of a stab wound from the long kitchen knife she was wielding to protect herself. Locked in her cell, the woman repeats her confession over and over.

The work by Stefano Massini is entitled “Next (The White Room)”, and will be presented on August 27 at 6 pm in the translation by Pietro Pizzutti, with the theatrical Arche-Agency, based on the France Telecom affaire. Two female and two male workers go into a room containing white lights, where an inspector is waiting for them. They all work for the Osiris company and participate in the NExT project: a series of tests will decide who among them can aspire to a much higher salary and who instead will be considered an obstacle and will be eliminated.

Tickets to the two performances are free, but reservations are necessary. Contact: reservationsdelamousson@gmail.com/ or phone 03 83 81 20 22.
