The Italian Ambassador to India, Vincenzo De Luca, participated in a meeting with the Italo-Indian economic community, which was held a few days ago by initiative of the local Italian Consulate. “I am thrilled to be here in person,” Ambassador De Luca said during one of the events organized in a three-day encounter that brought together Italian and Indian economic leaders.
“The success of this meeting – he added – is concrete evidence of our ability to keep in step with business, even during the Covid-19 emergency. This is a great moment for economic relations between Italy and India”.
Stressing that during the pandemic emergency Italy launched 14 investment projects and the turnover between the two countries grew constantly, the Ambassador reminded the meeting that energy transition will be the dominant sector of the future cooperation, in which Mumbai occupies the center of the stage. Giants like Eni, Enel Group, Terna Spa, Snam and Maire Tecnimont lead the sector in Europe and, in this process as well, they will have a key role. “There is no Italy without its lifestyle and there is no lifestyle without Italy”, concluded the Ambassador.
