On the International Short Film Day, celebrated on 21 December, the day of the winter solstice, the Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade presents the initiative “Dieci corti in giro per il mondo (Ten short films around the world)”, scheduled from 13 to 22 December. The National Short Film Centre curates the initiative.
The selection offers an overview of contemporary short film production, touching on the most diverse genres and themes. The short films will be presented online in their original Italian version, with English subtitles.
The first event of the “Dieci corti in giro per il mondo” festival, which took place yesterday, 13 December, featured a short film by Davide Maria Valsecchi (2020), entitled “Come un uovo nel radiatore” (running time 10′). Among the short films on the programme, on 15 December, “En rang par deux” by Margherita Giusti, Viola Mancini and Elisabetta Bosco (2020; running time 7′); on 19 December, “Paese che vai” by Luca Padrini (2020; running time 11′). Francesco Romano’s short film “Tropicana” (2020; running time 13′) concludes on 22 December.
