The Italian Embassy in Doha, through the Italian Foreign Trade Agency (ICE), participated in the 18th edition of “Project Qatar” and in the 7th edition of “Hospitality Qatar”, two trade fairs held simultaneously at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from 6 to 9 June.
Italy participated in the two trade fairs with two pavilions: the first, at “Project Qatar”, covered an area 126 sq m and hosted 12 Italian exhibitors from the construction and design sector; the second, at “Hospitality Qatar”, covered an area 180 sq m and counted on the participation of 16 Italian exhibitors from the food sector. This pavilion also hosted the latest edition of “Breakfast Made in Italy”, a project developed by the National Confederation of Handicrafts and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises to promote the unique taste of Italian-style breakfasts.
“We are particularly proud of Italy’s participation in these two events,” said the Italian Ambassador in Doha, Alessandro Prunas, in his opening remarks at the MEGA Projects Qatar Conference. He added: “Through our presence, we once again reaffirm Italy’s extraordinary standing in the building, design, catering, and food sectors as well as the fact that our exclusive taste can now be considered a recognizable brand worldwide. All this is even more significant in a context characterized by a growing level of trade between our two Countries.
