Italian-Czech Space Business Forum a Praga

The Italian-Czech Space Business Forum, organised by the Embassy of Italy with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE Agenzia), is taking place today at the Prague Congress Centre. The Forum is part of Czech Space Week, the Czech Republic’s biggest event for the space industry.

Designed to encourage trade and industrial cooperation between Italy and the Czech Republic, the Forum was a sell-out. It has attracted 148 registered attendees, 17 Italian companies, 50 Czech companies and institutions and 30 companies from other countries interested in the cooperation model developed by Italy and the Czech Republic in the space sector. The event will open with a short plenary session with welcome addresses by the Ambassador of Italy, Mauro Marsili, and the Czech Transport Minister, Martin Kupka.

The discussion will be moderated by the Space Attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Prague, Maria Cristina Falvella. The programme will continue throughout the day with the session dedicated to B2B and B2G meetings for the Italian-Czech segment of Czech Space Week. The national space sector and the Italian companies attending will be promoted in the Congress Centre through a video produced by the Foreign Ministry and the ICE information desk.

At the close of proceedings the Italian companies will be received by Ambassador Marsili in the Thun-Hohenstein Palace, the seat of the Italian Embassy. They will discuss the outcome of the event and meet fellow Italians working in the space sector in Prague.
