The Italian Embassy in Berlin hosted a performance by Carlo Maria Parazzoli, First Violin of the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, accompanied on piano by Monaldo Braconi. The evening’s programme paid tribute to “the great German musical tradition of the 19th century and the fruitful dialogue between Italian and German artists”, said Ambassador Armando Varricchio.
The Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia will be on a European tour from 23 January to 4 February, with a series of appointments in Germany and two performances also at the Italian Cultural Institutes of Munich (26.01) and Hamburg (30.01), as part of a collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
