London, the Energy Transformation is discussed at the event “Encounters”


On 15 February, the Embassy of Italy in London and the Italian Cultural Institute will be holding a meeting dedicated to the Transformation of the energy system. The event is part of a series of conversations entitled “Encounters” organised by the Embassy and the Institute and dedicated to the analysis of the most relevant current issues by experts from the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities.

During the event, the CNR Research Director and member of the Italian National Academy of Sciences, Nicola Armaroli, who is an expert in materials and systems for solar energy conversion, will speak about the historic challenge posed by the transformation of the energy system.

Annalisa Savaresi, Associate Professor of International Environmental Law at the University of Eastern Finland and researcher at the University of Stirling, UK, will speak about the role citizens will play in the process.
