The call to participate in “Accelerate in Israel”, the fourth edition of the programme promoted by the Italian Embassy in Israel to enable Italian start-ups to spend a period of acceleration in Israel, is now online. Applications must be submitted by 30 June 2023.

Thanks to a proven organisation, the success of past editions and new technology verticals in key sectors, the fourth edition of Accelerate in Israel – said the Ambassador of Italy to Israel, Sergio Barbanti – will offer our young entrepreneurs in the technology sector an opportunity to introduce themselves to the exceptional Israeli innovation ecosystem and benefit from a unique opportunity to develop their business idea through a close working period with Israeli and international entrepreneurs and investors. The programme, which in recent years has become a reference point for many Italian start-ups interested in international experience, is a tool designed to promote the growth of Italian start-ups and further strengthen bilateral relations between Italy and Israel in the high-tech and innovation sector. The sectors identified by the call are the result of recent high-level meetings between the two countries, starting with the one between the two Prime Ministers and Ministers OF Foreign Affairs last March’”

Accelerate in Israel” is the support tool dedicated to Italian start-ups funded within the framework of the Agreement on Industrial, Scientific and Technological Research and Development Cooperation between Italy and Israel. Now in its fourth edition, this year too it can count on the collaboration of the Italian Trade Agency – ICE, the Israel-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, and provides a contribution of EUR 14,000 for each of the start-ups that will be selected and an eight-week acceleration period at an Israeli accelerator. The twelve selected start-ups must belong to the sectors of technologies for agriculture and food; technologies for the environment, green energy and water resources; medical technologies and space technologies.
