The “Fellini Museum”, recently inaugurated in Rimini, will be presented in Stockholm, at the “C. M. Lerici” Italian Cultural Institute, as part of Stockholm Design Week.
The event, which will be held on Wednesday 6 September, has been organised by the Institute itself in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and aims to highlight the link between architecture, design and cinema.
The museum project, which aims to enhance the cultural legacy of one of the most illustrious directors in the history of international cinema, will be presented by architect Orazio Carpenzano (Professor of Design in the Faculty of Architecture at the “La Sapienza” University in Rome and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture since 2020) and Leonardo Sangiorgi from Studio Azzurro.
The “Fellini Museum”, spread over three venues – Castel Sismondo, Palazzo del Fulgor and Piazza Malatesta – provided an interesting opportunity to merge the language of architecture and digital art with the visionary world of Federico Fellini. Indeed, an integral part of the exhibition are the video installations curated by Studio Azzurro, a pioneer of digital video art in Italy.
