Launch of Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Advanced Training Programme for Italian Schools Abroad
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Advanced Training Programme for students and teachers of Italian Schools Abroad starts in Zurich.
The programme aims to promote the Italian educational model, strengthening the educational offer with innovative advanced training courses. The courses focus on cutting-edge disciplines selected from national areas of excellence.
The topic selected for the “Casa d’Italia” Italian State School in Zurich is Italian Children’s Literature, which will be at the centre of two seminars organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Zurich.
The events are realised in partnership with Andersen – La Rivista e il Premio di libri per ragazzi (Andersen – Children’s Magazine and Prize), an active member of the Italian Educational System in the World since 2020. During the seminars, Mara Pace (journalist, translator and professor) and Andersen’s Editor in Chief Barbara Schiaffino will explore the assessment and selection of Italian children’s literature, its educational role, shared and individual reading approaches and bibliodiversity.
