While attending the Global Forum for Vaccine Sovereignty and Innovation in Paris, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani stopped in the garden of the Italian Embassy’s historic headquarters in front of the red bench installed there as a symbol of the fight on violence against women.

The “Red Benches” initiative undertaken in Italian Embassies is part of the campaign launched by Minister Tajani on 8 March with the presentation of a permanent red bench at the entrance to the Farnesina as a “symbol of the void left in society when a woman falls victim to femicide”.

In the photo, Minister Tajani joins the Italian Ambassador in Paris Emanuela D’Alessandro, and four MAECI-CRUI interns at the Embassy, to say “enough” to violence and discrimination against women.
