The exhibition “Roberto Capucci. Dal tratto al tessuto” (Roberto Capucci. From Line to Fabric) opened on 15 June at the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava. The event is organised by the Italian Cultural Institute, in collaboration with the Capucci Foundation, the Italian Embassy in Slovakia and the aforementioned museum.
Presenting 46 original couture designs and 2 splendid gala dresses, all from the 1980s and 1990s, the exhibition will remain open to the public until 22 October.
Among the invited guests are representatives of the diplomatic corps, including Italian Ambassador Catherine Flumiani, of the business world and of culture.
Capucci’s exhibition, curated by Enrico Minio Capucci, is one of the main events of the 16th edition of the Italian festival “Dolce Vitaj”, the most important cultural event promoted by Sistema Italia in Slovakia during May and June.
The exhibition, held under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Bratislava, Matus Vallo, was also made possible thanks to the funds for cultural and integrated promotion and the support of VUB Banka.
