The Foreign Ministry informs that the French Authorities have confirmed the identification of five Italian citizens as victims of the Nice attack, namely : Mario Casati, Carla Gaveglio, Maria Grazia Ascoli, Gianna Muset and Angelo D’Agostino.
Their families have been informed and are being provided the necessary assistance from the staff of the Italian Consulate and Crisis Management Unit. Among the victims there is also an Italian-American citizen, Nicolas Leslie.
Minister Gentiloni and the Foreign Ministry express their deepest sympathy to the families and friends of the victims of this heinous attack.
